El Pórtico, located in the heart of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, is a Galician-Catalan restaurant with over 30 years of tradition. Founded in 1990 by the Fernández Calderón family, who are originally from Galicia, it combines the homemade and traditional cuisine of Galicia and Catalonia. For the past 20 years, the story has continued under the stewardship of Esther and Mari, preserving and maintaining the essence of El Pórtico. It offers seafood and meats sourced directly from Galicia, along with dishes like paella, octopus à la Gallega, and broken eggs with chorizo. The menu also includes more sophisticated options and classic Galician and Catalan dishes. At El Pórtico, tradition and homemade food come together to provide an authentic and unique culinary experience.
